LMCC- How did you start rapping?

MD-I started rapping when I was young, probably around 8 years old. When I first started I would just be playing around and acting like I could actually rap. When I was 10 I took two tape cassette players. On one of the tape players I played the Mase and Puffy "Cant nobody hold me down" instrumental and on the other one I put a blank tape in and pressed record. I recorded my first song wit my two cousins and it was on ever since.

LMCC- I'm a New York native so the song "Bumping Biggie" really intrigues me, what inspired it?

MD- Well Bumping Biggie really just came naturally. The way I create songs is a pretty organic process. I kinda listen to the music and let it speak to me. So with the Bumping Biggie joint, those were the words that I heard over the music. Initially I wrote 3 different verses. But I went back and created a completely different version in an attempt to make the record doper. From there I decided that I would release it on March 9th to pay respect and in celebration of the 18th anniversary of his home going.

LMCC -Who would you say is your musical inspiration?

MD - I have many musical inspirations. For instance I'm inspired to make music buy a lot of different things. If I had to pick a musician that Inspires me most it would definitely be Tupac.

LMCC - What do you think the rap game lacks today?

MD - I believe the game is good. Its a lot of dope music out here. You just gotta find it you know. I do wish mainstream hip hop would give music wit positive messages more shine though. We need more light.

LMCC- What do you believe sets you aside from other rappers?

MD - My perspective, my creativity and my flow. I have an original sound, and I'm a lot more honest than a lot of other rappers.

LMCC- Who would you say is your biggest competition?

MD- My self. Its my personal aim to always get better. Not just at making music but at life. Only I can get it my way if I allow my self to..

LMCC- Name some artists you would like to work with in the future..

MD - Nipsey Hustle, Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Big Krit, Kanye , Miguel... I'm sure there's others that just don't come to mind right now... I think I would make good music with those guys though..

LMCC- If you had to choose between true love and being exactly where you wanted to be in your career, what would you choose?

MD- Right now, my Career... I would hope that true love came along the way sometime after lol. The importance of the message in my music reaching the masses is vital though...

LMCC- If you had 24 hours to live what would you do?

MD- I would record a song. Spend some time with my daughter (my family in general). If I have an appetite I'll have mom dukes cook up some oxtails.. Then I'll spend sometime in prayer and get ready to die.

LMCC- If you could sit down and have dinner with anyone, dead or alive.. who would it be?

MD- Yeshua (Jesus)

LMCC- What's your favorite thing to do when not rapping?

MD- Watch a good movie or chill out with my peeps.

LMCC- Who do you think is the most overrated rapper in the game?

MD- LOL. Drake. (I do think hes dope though)

LMCC- Who do you think is the most underrated rapper in the game?

MD - Big Krit

LMCC - Who do you think are the best unsigned rappers out of ATL?

MD- With all humility i would say my self and a up and coming artist from the east side named T will he's a really dope artists and I'm sure the world will be introduced to him pretty soon

LMCC- What can we expect from MD UNO up and coming?

MD -I'm dropping a new single in a couple of weeks so be on the look out for that. I'm following up my from previous project with a new mixtape entitled "I Want The Streets 1.5" coming soon. Also I'm looking forward to increasing my fan base, perfecting my craft, performing more and introducing my movement "One Nation" to the world.
