cardi b unable to trademark "okurr"

Cardi B amongst other people are known for using the phrase "okurr". Many people believe that Cardi B is the originator of the term. With this being said, Cardi B decided to file a trademark for the word but was denied. U.S. Patent and Trademark officials deemed Cardi B's slogan a "widely-used commonplace expressions”, which means it does not fit the criteria to deserve a trademark. What do you think?
