Girl Boss Stormi Maya, is new to the rap game but no stranger to the Industry. The now 23 year old, started her modeling career at age 16 working with many lingerie and clothing companies throughout the world. Stormi then went on to model for Playboy before transitioning into acting in 2015. The Bostonian turned New Yorker’s acting resume includes Spike Lee’s “She’s Gotta Have It “, The Last OG, Younger and Indie feature films like Playing with Dolls: Havoc, Death Kiss, 2050, The Price for Silence, Terrortory 2, The Wishing Forest and more. Aside from being in front of the camera, Stormi is also talented when it comes to filming and directing, producing films like “It Hungers”, “The Wishing Forest” and “Cattle the Cult”. She is also in the process of creating a series called “Shark” which will be written and produced by herself. Being a talented writer during this interesting current state of Hip Hop, it was destined that Stormi take a try at music. Releasing her first EP Body Of Work produced by Megadon just last week, January 21st. Stormi’s musical inspiration comes from people like Lady Of Rage, Foxy Brown, Left Eye and Queen Latifah, which can definitely be noticed in her music.
